Smart Recorder allows you to easily create recordings and transcribe them using the high quality dictate2us. It offers a wide range of features beyond what is available in the built-in voice memos app. With over 1,000,000 device installs, Smart Recorder has been actively marketed and updated for seven years.

Whether you need to record meetings, interviews, lectures, classes, or simply make to-do or shopping lists, Smart Recorder is the ideal tool for the job. Its intuitive interface and helpful features make it easy to use:

Smart Recorder also supports Dropbox if the Dropbox app is installed and offers multiple mail/export formats such as CAF, WAV, AIF, and MP4. It even has iCloud support and the ability to generate ringtones for your iPhone. You can add tags or pictures to mark positions in a recording and use the time slider or forward/back buttons to navigate through your recordings quickly.

Other features include Bluetooth and external headset support, auto pause/voice-activated recording, variable speed playback with pitch correction, system settings for customization, stereo support, appending to existing recordings, categorizing/sorting recordings, and no time limit on recordings. It is a universal app available for both iPhone and iPad.

If you want to keep track of the location where your recordings were created, Smart Recorder offers geo-tagging. You can also use the search function to find specific conversations or recordings with certain tags or words in the title.

Additional features are available for purchase, including the ability to disable advertising, email/export long recordings, voice enhancement, trimming/editing, and machine transcription.
